頭にはたいてい小さな竹の笊がのっています。竹かんむりに犬と書けば「笑」——笑いの多い一生をという願いだと説かれます。笊の目からは、まやかしを見通せるようにとも。
ほとんどが白いのは、始まりに贈るものだからです。
